more things i saw and photographed in lisboa

snacks. the long effort is beefy and the other thing is a chicken pear.

it's basically chicken and potato in the shape of a pear.

the portuguese were great sailors. you knew that right ?

i think my dislike of cats has been pretty well documented.

i'm not a fan of horses either.

( but i love chicken... and beef too for that matter )

portuguese coffee is ok i suppose

but it's more about the nata than the coffee

i liked this place. it was the church of st roque ( i think )

roque had a bad leg so i think god sent him a dog with some bread every day.

( or something like that )

i may have the story somewhat confused but i'm sure it's something

like that. certainly in all the depictions of him, he had something wrong

with his 'scotch egg' and there was always a dog at his side with a little

loaf of bread in it's mouth.
