a few weeks ago i had a job photographing the interior of a restaurant in w8
the chef / owner was nicola batavia, a larger than life italian and a really good bloke.
although i was only there to shoot the interior, he persuaded me to do a few
portraits of him and i couldn't really say no to him could i ?
he emailed me today to say that he put a couple of my pics on his blog

i like that he calls me "a very nice boy"
and here's a pic i took of him that i like, but he didn't use...
nicola is one of those people that you meet every so often out of the blue
and you're so glad that you met them... if you know what i mean ?
