headed out east to have a butchers at some of the london design week things.
i like this...
it's like one of those pallet things but made out of oak or some such quality wood.
yeah... i'd like one of those.
i took a wander over to curtain road to check out michael marriott's stools
he had them piled up outside scp. i think the top two light up at night like a beacon.
nice one michael
i really wanted to buy one... an orange one
but mrs w wasn't having it.
they're very nice little stools. stackable and i guess you could hide things under them
too... like say, trainers.
michael marriott is somebody i've known for some years now, maybe since 1994
i own a few things that michael has designed and not only are they fantastic
pieces, but they all seem to have a bit of a sense of humour about them.
maybe i'll photograph some of michael's designs and show you what i mean.
i like that the note describes michael as a true gentleman of the british design industry.
i think that's a nice description of him.
also in scp i spotted
mr fox.
and on the way to pizza east i spotted an even rarer creature...
a red squirrel
i couldn't walk down bateman's row without...
swinging into 1948
where mrs w picked up a pair of liberty blazers ( the ones in the background )
thanks to nehjat, as ever.
