fab four at the bush

my mate andy is a sports photographer.

maybe that's not enough of a description really but i think it's a description

andy would like.

i think he'd like it better than if i said he was 4 times sports photographer

of the year, or that he is one of the most talented and well respected 

people in the business ( and has just written a book on sports photography )

i also think he'd like it better than me calling him mr club sandwich...

but that's another story.

anyway, andy was at loftus road on sunday. i spotted him going into the

photographer's entrance while i was flashing my laminated pass at the security

guard at the w12 club.

i gave him a call and asked him if he'd take a shot of me, elvis, doctor mike and oli

as we emerged to take our seats, and being top man, andy said yes.

so here's one of andy's shots of the shepherds bush four

1. i think doctor mike must have misunderstood elvis's invitation and thought we 

were going ski-ing.

2. oli seems to be trying to hail a taxi... perhaps for danny gabbidon ?

3. elvis... well i'm not quite sure what he's doing. but both his fist are clenched

and he's grinning so i'm sure he's up to no good.

4. me... the reason for my pose / facial expression is that i was expressing concern for the structural condition of the stands at loftus road... and also because doctor mike 

was using his left hand to give me the second part of a medical examination 

that he had begun in 1995 by the side of a swimming pool in belize city...

... but that's another story !
