"i like birds best" is one of my favourite sayings.
sure, i don't say it as much as i say "i'll do the jokes"
or "is there any chance ?" but it is one of my favourite phrases and one that
i use as often as possible.
some of you will know where the phrase comes from but others will perhaps
wonder what the hell i'm talking about... still, it seemed like a good title for this post.
a small parcel arrived at whitfield towers last week... and it wasn't from nike.
hmmm...
it was from the rspb
a window feeder... decent !
and some food for the birds
buggy nibbles ? grrr ! if only they were called button mushrooms...
but as palmer said to ross...
" you didn't come here to talk to me about button mushrooms and birds "
but as palmer said to ross...
" you didn't come here to talk to me about button mushrooms and birds "
what i did come here for is to ask, why haven't any birds been to eat at
whitfield towers yet ? the box and the food has been there for a week.
sure, i also like books, music, cooking... but...
rest assured the birds are out there and they are casing the joint. they know the food is there but they are making sure you are not a cat in disguise.
ReplyDeletenew feeders normally take one or two weeks before being used.
or so my bird fan daughter tells me...
noted.
