for the first time this year me and mrs w went to the pub quiz at the tufnell
tavern last night. in a shock move we brought along some help...
not only did my friend reiko come along to make her pub quiz debut,
but she invited her japanese friend mie too.
the final member of the team was my key entourage member... 'gooner jeff'
this was the first time jeff had been out of the city of london or n1 since 2001.
jeff likes to keep to his manor... oh apart from the fortnightly trip of shame
to the emirites stadium n5 ( but i promised not to mention football )
we left the team name for reiko to decide, and she named our team...

'handsome jeff' charmed the girls with his cockney ways and gave a brief
lecture on rhyming slang which ended with the two little japanese girls
giving him a round of applause while i got a round of drinks.
at half-time in the quiz, reiko drew a little sketch of mie, mrs w,
me and 'handsome jeff'
what can i say ? what a corking piece. not only is it brilliant, but i swear it only
took her a minute to do it.
to cut a long story short, team jeff came 2nd in the quiz.
we were a quite comfortable 2nd place too.
our prize ? a bottle of red wine
which reiko quickly customised
