some more old prints i found

here are a few old prints i found a month or so ago.

i can't remember exactly why i thought i'd share them with you, but

anyway, let's get them out of the way.

on location in the place that back in the day, i told my daughter was the capital of england

in mallorca, with the whit fields, wearing one of those spanish hats.

what the what ?!

in madrid for real madrid v leeds a few years back when leeds 

almost made it to the champions league final.

like my haircut, nowadays leeds are no longer very impressive.

i think this was in rotterdam and i seem to recall this was me doing an impression

of sir alex ferguson.

hmmm...

back in the day

funnily enough, part of the reason i've been off blogging is that i'm

trying to get fit.

my daughter kindly enrolled me for a 10k run which is now three weeks away

( more about that later )

and what little spare time i've had recently i've been using to run badly

and practise collapsing out of breath while using industrial language.

last time i got fit was maybe 8 years ago

with a haircut borrowed from robert pires, i went to belize for a holiday.

never one for posing

oh  my word. i had a six pack 

( thanks to maxi muscle )

i'm not saying my six pack will be back, but at least my blog is.

it's going to take a while to get back up to date here

so let me plough through some old pics that i put in a folder about a month ago

for some reason.

a photo of me back in the day when i worked on the sports picture desk of a 

sunday newspaper with the bloke who used to dance and not do much else

vanessa and the norwegian note

ok, this is going to take some catching up.

but firstly i'd like to thank a lady named vanessa, who i met last week.

she approached me at a show in clerkenwell and said 

"you don't know me, but i follow your blog"

i felt embarrassed that i'd let it slip for so long and asked her what she likes

about it. maybe i could do the first blog post especially for her when i returned ?

i asked if she liked trainers, coffee, food, photos of me looking miserable

in restaurants ?

she replied that she doesn't care for any of those and that she has nothing in common

with me. she just likes reading my blog.

so, i dedicate this post especially to vanessa.

i always used to think we had the best notes in the world

( and obviously the usa have the worst )

and then along came norway with this beauty.

outstanding work !

coffee

this was a little coffee shop in w1

where i was given some very fancy looking coffees.

i'll now slip in a few of iphone pics to show you the coffees.

first off, before i started shooting, i was given this

all in all it was a good shoot.

interiors

i could certainly fill a blog post or two by showing you some interiors

i've photographed recently.

this was in the greek place two posts down

yesterday in somerset

yes they were the same shoes as i wore a few days previously in the greek restaurant.

no it wasn't the same t-shirt.
