it's a dull monday morning and i have no new pics to put up.
so i thought i'd show something of a shoot i did a couple of
years ago with the cheeky girls.
when they arrived at the studio, i talked to them about the shots i wanted
and my first impression was of how much they genuinely liked each other.
they seemed like they were best friends as well as close sisters.
they fussed over each other making sure they thought they
both looked right. rather than fix their own shoes, they helped
with each others.
i got them both to squeeze onto an arne jacobsen egg chair.
without even asking them to pose in any way, they sat like this.
click on the image to see it bigger and you'll notice that
they linked their little fingers. it's a nice little detail, and one that
is all the better for being natural.
my brightest idea came when they showed us all the clothes
they'd brought for the shoot. hmmm...
so i sent out to gap for two plain white mens shirts
very nice.
another moment which showed their sisterly love perhaps,
and gave me a nice pic or two happened when i'd finished the
above shots and asked them to move over to the sofas in the
corner of the studio.
they just jumped off the stage and walked over to the sofas like this.
i quickly took a couple of frames then asked them to come back and
do the walk again... and again...
this is a shot from when i asked them to start the walk again
and they're asking me how to do it. shame, it was never as good as
when they did it without knowing i was photographing them.
but by retouching the walls, removing the sofas from the
background etc, it makes for quite a nice shot.
i did a few shots of them relaxing on the sofas...
as i was setting up the shots they just sat there playing with
each other's hair or adjusting their shirts.
they were pretty good when it came to posing too
this was the last frame i did of the two of them.
but there was one important shot still left to do...
cheeky !
