my friend reiko is over in london at the moment.
she is a very talented artist who lives in tokyo.
over the past few months i'd been helping her with
english phrases for her new book. it was published last month and she
presented me with a copy.
i think it's called ' i can speak english'
here's a bit that i helped her with...
in japan you'd say 'i lost a half stone' and it sounds very
strange to them to use the phrase 'half a stone'

reiko is studying english at a school in london this week.
hopefully she will learn a better word to describe my mate gooner jeff with.
last time she made the mistake of using the word 'handsome'
