laces maketh the shoe

i always think it's the little details which make something special.

certainly a little tweak can make a big difference... a little bit of customisation,
adding your own twist to something, then you have your own take on
that item. maybe it then stands out as a little different to the same item that
another person may have.

what the hell am i talking about ?

i should just stick to the photos.

last wednesday i bought both models of the nike v liberty air force-1.
as you may know. i'm not a fan of white midsoles, or white laces.

though these are premium editions, unfortunately they didn't come boxed
with alternative colour laces, as is the case with some premier u.s. or japanese releases.
so, i took a trip to my lace room to find a solution to this nightmare !

and here's what i did. the little details that i added to put my own mark on these 'problems'

i worked some khaki laces onto the umbel print af-1's
which pretty much matched the khaki outsole.

onto the tatum print af-1's i dropped some yellow laces
which was like a diamond bullet through the temple !

i'm not saying they look better than with white laces... ( but they do don't they ? )

outstanding lacework from n7's finest !

these liberty print af-1's are going to bring heat to the streets this summer.
once i bring out the shorts of hope and get a bit of colour on my scotch eggs,
these bad boys are going to be on fire.
