nike air force 1 limited edition boot leather i.d's

a parcel arrived at whitfield towers yesterday... it was from nike
the air force 1 i.d's i made online about 3 weeks ago

standard i.d. packaging
with the pull-out draw type box

and here's the reveal
hmmm...

these were part of the strictly limited edition run made with boot leather.
the leather is amazing quality. soft yet tough. perfect for winter.
i used brown boot leather on the tip, toe box, mid panel, eye stay and tongue.
unfortunately they didn't have enough boot leather to last the whole of december
and the material is no longer available.

i opted for the metallic gold material on the foxing and swoosh
i also went with a grey midsole and gum bottom.

from the front these bad boys almost look like working boots
but from behind... they look like... er...
i chose to have a gold / yellow stitching on the heel tabs

and yellow / gold sock liner and laces ( with gold tips )
at first i wasn't sure about these, but after re-lacing them and trying them on,
i think i've done a good job with them

oh, the hang tag / key ring thing i had personalised with...
representing n7 ( of course )

and here they are on my plates, teamed up with a pair of stüssy / levis
ready to bring some festive heat to the streets of n7.

boom !
