amuse bouche




the chef at martinhal had been operating since late april and according to one of the waiters, he conjured up a different amuse bouche every single night.
we were given this on our first evening...


a traditional portuguese soup but in a non-traditional way



it tasted nice and creamy, had little pieces of chorizo in it and was topped with seaweed.


i think the chef was a genius.
