pride

on saturday we were in the west end doing the usual... drinking coffee and shopping.

after breakfast and coffee at fernandez and wells we strolled down dean street and chucked a right down old compton street... hmmm... dancing in the shop windows...
strange.

then we walked along brewer street towards regent street. when we got there
we realised what was going on. it was the annual pride parade.
there were some great characters bowling along.

i had to admire this fellow's balls

wow ! it was a bit hot to be wearing this gear...
black leather, chains... and masks !

fair play to this bloke wearing outrageous heels

and look at these two lads strutting along regent street in red

i liked this girl's t-shirt. it says "half rice, half chips"

the arsenal team were on show modelling next season's new away kit

and the boys from brasil
flying the flag.

a few air hostesses were watching the parade too...

hello ladies !

a girl next to me had some cracking old school tattoos

great stuff

grrr ! i cropped off the top of this bloke's costume

hmmm... a lot of red around today

i looked around to find the air stewardesses in big demand for photos
then me and mrs w popped into the apple store for a few minutes.

when we came out again, the parade had just finished...
and the ladies were making their way back to heathrow.
