coffee packaging

i had a shoot in place called cloth fair this morning.
before the shoot i grabbed a take-away coffee from a little place in islington.
i liked the packaging very much. not branded, but not one of those generic cups used by lots of small one-off coffee places.

nice and simple. stylish yet effective.
you don't see many black lids do you ?  all the major chains use white lids.

hmmm... yellow and black... yes, i like it.

oh, the coffee was perfect by the way. it's a very interesting place. it used to be a car spares shop but it has suffered since the crunch. so they split the shop in two. the dad runs the car spares and the son opened the other half as a coffee shop.
i'll do a proper review next week.
