home alone

it had to happen really.

after a long day photographing tea and cakes, i arrived home at whitfield towers.
i was hank marvin and needed something to accompany "after the fox"

i'm nothing if not predictable, so here's what happened next...

scene 1... the establishing shot
that's about all you need apart from a fork

this is my favourite plate.
i like the idea that it is always expecting to hold a healthy little meal

then i come along like a northern bullet
and it's chips on !

hmmm...

better spread them about a bit on the plate, make a nice base for step 2.

careful with step 2. it's a tricky one... open up those corners... go on my son...

on top of the jockeys pour all the chicken fried rice...
spread it out evenly then make a little hole in the centre

next step, pour the curry sauce...
at this stage i'm usually encouraging the whole meal by saying under my breath
"you beauty" or something similar... "get in " perhaps ?

and there you have it...
chicken fried rice, chips and curry sauce.
standard.

once you've admired it and taken a photo or two, i'd recommend you mix it all in a bit
then wolf it down just a little too quickly while watching "after the fox"
