kaffeine, 66 great titchfield street, w1

i had a meeting in little portland street today and parked outside a corking little joint...

my knowledge of accents is notoriously bad, but no word of a lie, i actually heard the three girls behind the counter say something about a kangaroo ! they also mentioned an upcoming election so when i asked them if they were australian, i knew that i wasn't going to embarrass myself.

it's a great little place, hopefully i'll go back soon and take some shots of the interior, but in the meantime here's the flat white which i ordered ( in a take-away cup )
when the barista saw me taking a photo she said something along the lines of
" strewth mate..." ( well ok, she didn't say that, but she had a nice australian accent, that's the message i'm trying to get across here )
she said that if she'd known i was going to take a photo, she would have done something a bit better than the heart.

so out of the goodness of her heart, she knocked up this bad boy...
outstanding !... a tulip.

it's a bit off my usual patch but i'll be back to visit kaffeine again soon.
my sentiments exactly.
