the restaurant i photographed in pimlico the other day is called tinello.
tinello is run by two brothers, max and federico and i was originally commissioned to shoot some portraits of the two of them about a month before the restaurant opened.
unfortunately on the day of the shoot, the restaurant was still pretty much a building site.
there was however a brick wall which was up up to chest height, and maybe 6 feet of wooden flooring. so the only way i could get a shot was to ask them to sit on the floor...
far from ideal, but the pr company liked it.
here's a shot of the restaurant now that it's finished...
with bricks going all the way up to the ceiling and the oak flooring completed.
