blow up

have you seen the film 'blow-up' ?

i had a similar kind of thing happen to me today. 

well, ok, not at all similar...

i was in look mum no hands with a flat white when i looked up at the prints

on the walls. an exhibition of cycling photos is on at the moment.

this is the view from my seat.

i got up to have a butchers at the black and white print...

as i got closer i could see there was a lone photographer bang in the middle of the print.

i took a closer look...

hmmm...

er...

could it be ?

i swear that's my friend chris 'gringo' brown

i took a photo of this with my phone and texted it to the gringo and he confirmed

that it was indeed him... about 14 years ago !

( he also said he was glad the photo was in black and white as 

"long ginger hair wasn't the best of looks" ) 

so we made plans to meet up for a coffee in look no hands next week.

i'll take a photo of him then... in black and white !
