on my coffee table this week...

ok, this week i'm recommending this little lot...
a very personal choice indeed this week

film: the big lebowski
probably the film i've watched more than any other film in my life
( although 'charade' and 'the 39 steps' are possibilities for that accolade too )
no kidding but this film needs to be watched and re-watched. you will notice something new each time. it's a real gem... and very quotable.
( i'll challenge anybody to out-quote me on this film )

moving on...

book: 'i never knew that about wales' by christopher winn
some extraordinary facts about god's own country.

cd: 'raw' by mark whitfield
what the what ?!

i won't lie... i bought this because of the cover, but the boy can play
( unlike another mark whitfield out there, who packed in guitar lessons
when he found it difficult to learn the 'f' chord )
you can usually pick this cd up cheaply but if i were you i'd buy his album
'7th avenue stroll' it's much better, but the cover is not as good as this one.

next week a very special edition of 'on my coffee table'
you'll see...
