belts

i was home alone yesterday after my shoot got moved back a day.
stuck for something to blog about, i decided to introduce you to my belts...
yes really...

first up. this is the belt i've been wearing most of the time recently.
it's by marc jacobs, made out of cow hide and has loads of studs on it.

however this is my favourite belt...
it's by original fake. black leather with the signature kaws chomper pattern
etched into it. i bought this from hideout maybe 3 years ago.

this is almost vintage...
i bought this from the stussy shop when it was on prince street in new york
maybe 15 years ago ? the original belt got trashed so i stuck the buckle on
a belt i was given on a shoot in a belt factory in the east end last year.

i forgot all about this bad boy...
maharishi belt in olive colour with camo trim. this is a sturdy bit of kit.
i haven't worn it for years though.

i bought this effort in the patpong night market in bangkok 5 years ago
check out all the cheap crystals on it. i think it cost about £1.
i wear this quite a lot. like the cowskin marc jacobs belt, i kind of like the
loudness of it.

i also bought this in bangkok but maybe 3 years ago...
i bought it from a shopping mall which was full of school outfitters.
this is the official uniform belt of one of the local schools. it's kind of cheap
but i like the rarity value of it. the only other people i've seen wearing one
were thai schoolkids.

the only other belt i own is this thing...
the belt is by mambo. i bought it maybe 10 years ago. it's made from sturdy black leather
with yellow stitching. the buckle i bought from chinatown in new york a couple of years ago.
it cost me $8 after a lot of haggling. i used to give mcdonald's a lot of custom but
i have only been there once in the past 6  or 7 years... and that was in hong kong
in february this year.

the next time i'm stuck for blog material i will do a feature on my hat collection...
so brace yourselves.
