there's a cosy corner in whitfield towers...
it doesn't really show here but it's a warm orangey corner
let me tell you what's what in this photo...
the light comes from this
it's a big fluorescent tube light with orange gel wrapped around it.
the chair is hi-vis orange
designed by tom dixon, but i thank ash for it.
draped on the chair... my silk mr whitfield knickers
which i am saving for a special occasion.
i think this is an air purifier
designed by a famous japanese bloke...
i bought it from my favourite shop:

i also bought this from twentytwentyone
it's an eames house bird
it's a beautiful object. just pick one up and you will not be able to resist buying it.

the eames house bird is standing on the base of this...
a loop table designed by my friend magnus long
( he's the chap who designed my coffee table too )
magnus is one of the three designers at viable london
www.viablelondon.com
and he's a very nice bloke !
on the top of the table i keep some fire
these bad boys glow in the dark !
http://markwhitfieldphotography.blogspot.com/2010/07/footpatrol-heat.html
next to the adidas consortiums and also glowing in the dark...
a commes des garcons 400% bearbrick
so at night time when all the lights are switched off, the top of the table glows like
a good 'un, supplying just enough light for me to find my way to the kitkat drawer.
and lastly, on the wall, displayed in a glass tank...
my favourite piece of art in the whole place.
a shark. a shark that starred in a brilliant animated short film.
the shark and the film were made by one of my favourite artists.
ok... now get out of my crib !
