i had to shoot a few quick portraits of the restaurant owner in mayfair the other day.
this was taken using my battery light with a small soft box
it's right at the back of the restaurant looking towards the front.
this was taken in the lounge area at the front of the restaurant
this was taken with my leica m9 with a 35mm lens at f2.
the light is daylight from the window and a silver reflector.
this is in the same place but using a 50mm lens at f1.1
and grrr ! look at this shot...
an ideal place for a self-portrait but i just didn't have the time.
