it seems like i've been ignoring fernandez and wells for a while.
i was given a list of really good coffee places by one of mrs w's work colleagues
a while ago, and i've been working my way through it rather than just turning up at fernandez and wells every saturday.... ( f&w is on the list too by the way )
but last saturday after shunning beas of bloomsbury and finding no room at
cafe vergnano or the milk bar, we ended up at f&w in st. annes court.
this was my flat white. the pattern was not a patch on the good old days when gordon
was in charge on a saturday, but the taste... mmmm... it was absolutely perfect.
good times at st. annes court.
