mother mash

on sunday we met up with some friends at mother mash on ganton street.

i had cheesy mash, premium pork sausages and traditional gravy
( i scraped that green stuff off by the way )

mrs w had cheesy mash, pork and leek sausages and onion gravy

katie had mustard cheese mash, pork and leek sausages and onion gravy

credit went off piste and ordered some sort of pie ( i can't remember the details )
and horseradish mash.
i was shocked by this decision, but in fairness it looked sound enough and he also
had the skill to order up a side portion of mushy peas.

sam the scientist ordered this...
i'll be honest with you, i can't remember what he ordered, though i think they look
like lincolnshire sausages and i seem to remember him ordering horseradish mash.

all in all i'd give two thumbs up to mother mash, though the waitresses
taking our orders did so in a comic way and also it was as cold as a witches tit in there.

  1. Do they have another branch called "Father Fries"? Not convinced by this at all!
