i decided to check out a new coffee place today. well, it's new to me.
it's called pitch 42 and is at whitecross street market near the barbican.
it's just a market-stall with a belting machine ( la marzocco ) and a barista
who knows his stuff.
here's my flat white...
it was most excellent.
the barista ( lee ) saw me photographing my flat white and said
" oh, if you want to take a photo i'll do you something better "
so for the next bloke in line, who ordered a latte, he did this...
not bad... a swan.
and then he said " let me do one more " and came up with this...
a swan on the water.
what a top bloke. the coffee by the way, was outstanding.
